Cole Thompson
Ex-military weapons Tech and Marksman, head of department for internal comms attached to the Hunter/Killer 2nd Submarine squadron in Plymouth U.K who started his career in photography by taking photographs of targets of interest through a periscope whilst on patrol in the Gulf of Mexico aiding the U.S forces in stopping Drug Runners, people traffickers and pirates working alongside U.S Intelligence services performing discreet operations.
After leaving the military with an honorable discharge I worked various jobs whilst searching for a civilian career but because I joined the military straight from school I had no further education so my options were limited.

I worked for the NHS Surgical Division for 5 years preparing surgical instruments for operations and sterilizing them afterwords, I also was on-call over the weekends and evenings in the event of road traffic accidents and incase trauma pins and plates were required and would collect them and prepare them for the surgeon.
After facing redundancy twice and worrying about my future not even having a GCSE, I decided to go back to school build a solid career in Art and design...After all if you do what you love then you never work a day in your life and after a decade of destroying in the military it balanced my life out.
I completed various creative courses but went on to complete a diploma in art and design earning a double distinction, a Degree in Fine Art BA (hons), and a Masters degree in Computer animation at Sheffield Hallam.
Cole Thompson Design & Photography is established and over the years I spend roughly 12hours per day for 10 years learning and creating. And it doesn't stop there! My training (although at a reduced amount) is constant.
